ALL ITEMS ARE SENT USING TRACKED SERVICES. YOU WILL RECEIVE AN EMAIL WITH A TRACKING NUMBER WHEN IT'S READY TO GO. PLEASE CHECK YOUR SPAM AS OFTEN OUR EMAILS END UP THERE.

Current postage options and estimated times can be found upon checkout. These wait times include processing, packaging and the actual shipping time, so you should expect your item within that timeframe. Sadly (not), we are not Amazon with folks packaging 24/7 from a massive warehouse. We are a very small business operating from our London shop. So while sometimes you might receive your item the next day from ordering, we prefer to keep expected wait times longer just in case!

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We generally use Royal Mail, Parcelforce or DHL for our international orders. Delivery times may vary. Sometimes we use Royal Mail if it is cheaper or faster. Both of these carriers use local couriers in their relevant countries. For international orders (now including EU), you will not be charged VAT/taxes by us (this is why our prices appear 20% cheaper to you!),. However your home country may charge you VAT /taxes and customs duty (if applicable). For EU shipping, this technically should only take approx. 7-10 days but with new customs processes this can end up longer. SORRY! Please track your parcel and be ready to pay any VAT & Customs charges that may apply.  PLEASE DON'T HATE ON US FOR HAVING TO PAY THEM! The VAT/taxes you would have paid upon purchase anyway if you were in the UK, and will be whatever your home country charges for import VAT. The Customs charges are usually only around 3% of the value of your goods. There may also be a processing fee charged by the customs agent. We are too small a business to have systems set up to pre-pay this for you - it's time consuming and expensive. We hate Brexit! This sadly now applies to USA customers too. We know who we can thank for that ;)

PRE-ORDER ITEMS
Please check if your item is a pre-order. We do try to contact you regardless just to check you have spotted that it is a pre-order but please please double check to avoid disappointment. Items will either have a PRE-ORDER button on the Add to Cart button, or will say in the description, or even in the title. 
Occasionally we may be out of stock of an item however our website may still show it as being available. We will always contact you as soon as possible to inform you of this and give you options of waiting, exchanging or cancelling your order.
Our shipping times reflect the time some things may take to order in from our suppliers to still get to you on time. We do not stock every single item in our teeny tiny shop.

What if my parcel goes missing?

Believe it or not, we actually have huge success in orders arriving with our customers! Royal Mail do not consider something as lost until it is lost for 2 weeks. These usually do show up, so hold tight! Also always worth checking with a neighbour, but usually Royal Mail are pretty good with leaving a card.

Tracked services can be fully tracked and the driver's whereabouts can be tracked using UPS. Parcelforce will take a photo of delivery.

If an item is classed as lost by Royal Mail or Parcelforce we will absolutely send a replacement. If an item is showing as delivered and there is proof this has happened, unfortunately you will need to follow this up with your card provider. Unfortunately we need to indemnify ourselves against potential fraud, so while this sucks, for items worth over £150 this is our policy.

Sustainability

We are committed to being as eco-friendly as possible so we like to re-use boxes and packaging as much as possible. You order will always be packaged in fit-for-purpose packaging, but don't be alarmed if it looks slightly pre-loved! We are trying our best to minimise waste and we appreciate your support in this endeavour! We do send some items out in eco-friendly sugar mailbags with recycled cardboard 'bubble wrap'.

DOUBLE THREAT SKATES PURCHASING POLICIES

We would like to get your order right the first time, especially if you are having your skates custom mounted because the item becomes a custom item and therefore not returnable if it is not right. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our exchange/return policy for your order please contact us BEFORE placing your order.
 ****Please note that if you (or us) are mounting plates you purchased from us and are mounting to trainers/shoes (anything that is NOT a purpose built rollerskate boot) that all manufacturer warranties are void as this is not forintended use. Any issues you may have with parts or with mounting will not be eligible for exchanges or refunds****
