Pre-Order T’s and C’s
While we endeavour to give you the most accurate ETA for your pre-order/custom order, it is an estimated time of arrival only and does not take into account any elements beyond our control that the manufacturer or distributor may encounter. These could range from ships stuck in the Suez Canal, war/conflicts that may interrupt trade routes, manufacturing machines breaking, pandemics, the price of components being subject to trade wars, sanctions, postal strikes - or any of the other weird and wonderful reasons why a custom made item may take longer than expected.
I understand you are giving me the most accurate time frame you can and do not hold DTS responsible for any delays.
Please note that with Riedell pre-orders or custom skates that these may be in stock with Riedell and ready to ship OR are made to order. Your ETA will generally be 8-12 weeks for these items (longer for full customs). If your item is in stock with Riedell you may have a pleasant surprise and it might be earlier than that but please DO NOT expect it! In both cases, these are sent to the UK in a massive bulk order to the UK distributor. This scheduled bulk order usually happens every 8 weeks and can also be subject to delays depending if there have been manufacturing delays on other items. Please have patience as this can also add onto the expected time if the shipment doesn't leave on time.
WE DO NOT GET UPDATES FROM RIEDELL THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS SO PLEASE ASSUME YOUR ITEM WILL BE READY AT THE LONGEST TIME FRAME RATHER THAN EARLIEST TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT. WE MAY GIVE YOU AN EARLIER TIMEFRAME AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER BUT AGAIN, THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE.
TLDR: PRE-ORDERS TAKE TIME AND CAN BE SUBJECT TO DELAYS. PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON US!
