SHIPPING AND RETUNRS DURING COVID-19

WE ARE EXPERIENCING DELAYS DURING COVID-19. PLEASE BARE WITH US AS SHIPPING WILL TAKE LONGER THAN USUAL.

We offer a FREE UK option for orders between £50-£150 (*not including heavier items like rollerskates). This is a Royal Mail 2nd class untracked option. For items over £150 we always like to send them tracked so you have confidence in knowing where they are and when you'll receive them. 

For orders under £50, you can select either the paid for 2nd class option or the tracked option to receive it quicker.

Current postage options and estimated times during Covid-19 can be found upon checkout. 

In general, it's taking between 4-7 days for dispatch as we are severely understaffed, as are our suppliers.

Usually the 2nd class option takes 48 hours after dispatch but we cannot account for any delays Royal Mail might be experiencing. The Tracked option is usually next day after dispatch using either Parcelforce or DHL.

We ask you to please be as understanding as possible during this time. We are trying our very best to keep you rolling. Please if possible only email us about your order if it is past it's due date. 

We are committed to being as eco-friendly as possible so we like to re-use boxes and packaging as much as possible. You order will always be packaged in fit-for-purpose packaging, but don't be alarmed if it looks slightly pre-loved! We are trying our best to minimise waste and we appreciate your support in this endeavour!

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We generally use Parcelforce for our international orders. Delivery times may vary. Sometimes we use Royal Mail if it is cheaper or faster. Both of these carriers use local couriers in their relevant countries.

DOUBLE THREAT SKATES PURCHASING POLICIES

We would like to get your order right the first time, especially if you are having your skates custom mounted because the item becomes a custom item and therefore not returnable if it is not right. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our exchange/return policy for your order please contact us BEFORE placing your order.
 All exchanged and returned merchandise must be in unused original condition and original packaging. Please email info@doublethreatskates.co.uk 
Please do not ship any returns to Double Threat Skates without first notifying us as we are currently not operating from the shop premises.
We will not be held responsible for any items that go missing when you send them back to us.
RETURNS/EXCHANGES:
The following items can NOT be returned or exchanged unless there is a manufacturing fault that has been accepted by the manufacturer or distributor. (Please also note that handmade boots may have slight variances in them---this is totally normal and nothing to be concerned about.)
-Used/worn skates.
-Custom boots (this includes custom colors, widths, sizes, etc).
-Custom mounted boots (this means if we have mounted a boot to a plate)
-Custom skate packages (skates for which you have selected the components separately and had mounted by Double Threat Skates or elsewhere).
-Special order items.
-Non-stock items.
If you are unsure if your purchase will be return-able please contact us in advance to find out.
EXCHANGES
We will exchange items that do not fit properly, but they must be unworn and in brand-new condition, with all original packaging.
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
There is no restocking fee for exchanges on unused merchandise.
Any items returned not in perfect, new on-the-shelf condition will be returned to the customer at their expense.
If you order the wrong size in a stock boot, skate or protective gear, you are responsible for shipping
If we messed up and sent you the wrong size, sorry!!  Just let us know and we will cover the shipping cost and get you the right item, as soon as we receive the incorrect item from you.
RETURNS
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
We will replace the damaged item or refund your money, but we must receive the damaged item back before store credit, exchange, or refund is issued.
Double Threat Skates is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged by any mail carrier service.
PLATE MOUNTING:
We take great care when mounting plates and have a wealth of experience however please understand that this service requires us to use all sorts of tools and may result in the occasional scratch on the plate. By asking us to mount the plate, you are being understanding of this circumstance.
